What We Offer
Compensation: Hourly rate ranging from $16.00 to $22.50, paid over a 12-month period.

Qualifications
Education: At least 48 college hours required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience: Classroom experience or working with children.
Licenses/Certifications: Willingness to pursue a Special Education teaching certification.
Knowledge and Skills: Ability to instruct students, manage behavior, organize, communicate, and interact effectively; ability to adapt to various situations; assistance with daily living tasks; support for emotional or behavioral concerns.
Responsibilities
Assist in the educational and social development of students under the direction of facilitators and classroom teachers.
Implement Individual Education Plans and monitor student progress.
Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom.
Work with other professionals like speech therapists, social workers, occupational and physical therapists.
Support students with emotional or behavioral concerns and help develop appropriate social skills.
Assist with daily living tasks in the Life Skills Unit.
May need to assist with school bus rides to accompany students.
