About the role
The College of Education, Department of Special Educational (SPED) invites applications for Adjunct Instructors with expertise in the following core program areas: Special Education: K-12 Generalist, Autism, Applied Behavior Analysis, Inclusive Education – Elementary Dual Licensure, Inclusive Education - Secondary Dual Licensure, Infant/Toddler Mental Health, Early Intervention, Visually Impaired Learner, Orientation & Mobility.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver high-quality instruction in assigned courses.
- Evaluate student progress and provide feedback.
- Incorporate best practices in special education teaching and learning.
- Maintain current knowledge of special education trends and developments.
- Collaborate with colleagues and community partners to enhance educational opportunities for students with disabilities.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Special Education (or closely related field)
- PK-12 Teaching Experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Ed.D or Ph.D. in Special Education (or closely related field)
- Experience Teaching Adults

Compensation
Adjunct faculty are hired on either an annual or a per term basis and paid per credit hour per the PSUFA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
