About the role

The College of Education, Department of Educator Licensure (EL) invites applications for returning Adjunct Instructors with expertise in following core program areas:

  • Licensure in Elementary Education/GTEP Elem/Added Elementary Endorsement/International Teacher Education Program
  • Graduate Teacher Education Program
  • Secondary/Added Secondary Endorsement/International Teacher Education Program
  • READ Oregon Special Education K-12 Initial License/Add SPED
  • Graduate Certificate/License Visually Impaired Learner/Blindness and Low Vision
  • Graduate Certificate/License Early Intervention Special Education
  • Graduate Certificate/License Bilingual Teacher Pathway
  • English for Speakers of Other languages (ESOL) Endorsement
  • Inclusive Elementary Educator Program/Secondary Dual Education Program
  • Principal License
  • Professional Administrator License
  • Mathematics Learning, Teaching, & Leading Program: Grades 6-12/PreK-Grade 8

Responsibilities

Education

Through these efforts we also provide research and advocacy support for children throughout our communities.

Requirements

Master’s Degree in Education (or closely related field), or field related to the programs listed above.
Previous teaching experience
Ed.D or Ph.D. in Education (or closely related field), or field related to the programs listed above.
Experience teaching adults

Compensation

Adjunct faculty are hired on either an annual or a per term basis and paid per credit hour per the PSUFA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
