Special Ed Teacher SAI (Mild/Moderate) - Huerta Middle School *Signing Stipend

Requirements / Qualifications

• A valid California Special Ed Mild to Moderate Support Needs (MMSN) Credential is required.
• An Added Authorization in Autism is required.
• At least one of the following authorizations to teach English Learners is required:
  • CTEL
  • CLAD
  • BCLAD
  • AB2913 training (formerly SB395 OR SB1969)
  • SB2042 EL Authorization

Applicants who do not have a valid credential the first day of the school year will not be considered. 30-day Substitute Credentials are NOT valid credentials for contracted positions in our district.

Pay

SAI teachers and SLP's shall receive a signing bonus of $5,000, phased in over three years: $1,000, in the first year; $2,000 in the second year; $2,000 in the third year.
