Requirements / Qualifications

• A valid California Special Ed (Moderate/Severe) Credential is required.
• At least one of the following authorizations to teach English Learners is required: CTEL, CLAD, BCLAD, AB2913 training (formerly SB395 OR SB1969) or SB2042 EL Authorization.
• Applicants without a valid credential the first day of the school year will not be considered.
• 30-day Substitute Credentials are not valid for contracted positions in our district.

Benefits

• Signed Stipend: SAI teachers and SLPs receive a signing bonus of $5,000, phased in over three years: $1,000 in the first year; $2,000 in the second year; $2,000 in the third year.
