Amergis Educational Services is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students in a Moderate to Severe Special Education classroom in Cypress, California. This rewarding school-based opportunity allows you to make a lasting impact by helping students develop academic, behavioral, social, and life skills in a supportive learning environment.

Pay

$55.00/hour, paid weekly on Fridays.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred)
• Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations
• Minimum of one year experience in teaching environment (preferred)
• State Teacher Certification (preferred types: Standard Elementary, Standard Secondary, or Standard Special Teaching)
• Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) (preferred)
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR (if applicable)
• TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray (if applicable)
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
