Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of the Special Collections unit and staff management
- Acquire, process, and describe archival collections in multiple languages and formats
- Facilitate access to special collections for students and researchers in a reading room setting
- Collaborate with faculty to integrate special collections into the curriculum
- Produce and publish EAD encoded finding aids for archival collections
Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an ALA-accredited library school or equivalent degree with archival training
- 2+ years of experience arranging and describing manuscript and/or archival collections
- Familiarity with archival and library management systems, including ArchivesSpace
- Knowledge of current national data content and structure standards
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Pay
$68,000 – $145,250 annually
