About the Opportunity:The SPEC REIMBURSEMENT PATIENT ACCOUNTS role is focused on managing and resolving billing inquiries from patients, providers, and internal customers. This position ensures timely account collections by engaging with various stakeholders and maintaining accurate documentation. The role contributes by supporting efficient reimbursement processes and compliance with relevant regulations. Responsibilities:Respond to billing inquiries via phone, email, and live chatSupport clinicians, insurers, and management for prompt account collectionsResearch and work aged accounts and credit balancesProcess necessary billing adjustmentsReview patient insurance coverage for genetic testingDocument activities in process notesParticipate in Quality Assurance initiativesComply with CLIA and HIPAA regulations Requirements:High school diploma or GED equivalentMinimum 1 year customer service or call center experience; experience in medical billing, health insurance, or collections preferredStrong customer service, phone, problem-solving, decision-making, time management, organizational, communication, multitasking, and teamwork skillsPreferred knowledge of insurance billing codes ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCSBilingual English/Spanish preferred Pay Range and Compensation Package:The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate's experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
