SPD Systems Coordinator - Sterile Processing

About the role

The Sterile Processing Department (SPD) Systems Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the Sterile Processing Management (SPM) system across the Surgical Services Division and ensuring effective operations and providing support for the various systems utilized in the department as required. Serves as a liaison and partners closely with Information Technology and Network Systems division during system implementations, upgrades and issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating the Sterile Processing Management (SPM) system across the Surgical Services Division
• Ensuring effective operations and providing support for the various systems utilized in the department as required
• Serving as a liaison and partnering closely with Information Technology and Network Systems division during system implementations, upgrades and issue resolution
• Leading the design, testing, reporting, analysis and support of SPD-related informatics, with a focus on maintaining the integrity of the instrument tracking system

Requirements

• Five (5) years of related information technology and systems experience with a minimum of three (3) years of Sterile Processing Management (SPM) system operations
• Minimum of three (3) years of SPD Technician experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Computer Science, or related field
• CRCST Certified
