About the role
Primary responsibility is coordinating rural public transportation activities within the 17 county region.
Responsibilities
- Maintain an efficient data flow system in a fast-paced environment
- Use various software systems
- Assume scheduling and dispatching responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- Must be willing to take and pass a pre-employment drug test
- Upon employment, willing to take and pass additional drug and alcohol tests as required by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) for "saftey sensitive" employees
- Subject to random pool selection, reasonable cause, post-accident, and return to duty testing procedures
- GED or High School Diploma
- Ability to understand instruction without constant supervision
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with people from diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds
- Ability to read and write in the English language
- Bilingual preferred
