Spare Parts Shipping Coordinator

Job Responsibilities

• Collects the parts received for customer spare part orders
• Inspects parts to ensure correct quantities and part numbers for the spare part order
• Organizes parts in the designated warehouse area according to spare part order numbers
• Tracks the completion of parts received for each spare part order
• Uses Kinetic/ERP system to acquire the list of parts on each spare part order
• Attends weekly meetings with the Spare Parts Department to discuss requirements of orders, timing of shipment, correctness of parts, timing of part arrivals, and all other issues that arise
• Requisitions packaging materials for spare part order shipments
• Packages spare part orders for shipment
• Maintains the Spare Parts Log, which tracks the completion of orders and readiness of shipments
• Proficient in the use of a forklift truck and overhead crane
• Maintains a clean and organized work area
• Conducts daily duties within Safety awareness guidelines
• Performs domestic and international shipping of spare part orders
• Performs backup for Logistics Coordinator which includes domestic and international shipments
• Performs shipment duties in compliance with US and international laws and regulations
• Maintains the Fori shipping log
• Trains others when directed
• Performs all other tasks assigned by department supervisor or manager

Job Requirements

• A High School Diploma is required
• Must be proficient in using an ERP System
• Availability for Saturday work may be needed
