About the role

St. Margaret Catholic Elementary School is seeking a part-time Spanish teacher for the 2026-27 school year.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
• Support language development and foster a learning environment that promotes speaking, reading, writing, and cultural understanding
• Encourage student participation through interactive activities and conversation practice
• Audit student progress through quizzes, assignments, and classroom participation
• Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
• Communicate with parents, staff, and administration regarding student progress when needed
• Incorporate cultural elements into lessons to enhance language learning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field preferred
• Fluency in Spanish and English
• Previous teaching or tutoring experience preferred
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
