About the role
Ss. Colman-John Neumann Catholic School is hiring a full time Spanish Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.
Responsibilities
- Teach Spanish language and culture to students in grades K-8
- Develop lesson plans and materials aligned with curriculum standards
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching methods and support student learning
- Participate in professional development opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate in Spanish
- Experience teaching Spanish at the elementary level preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
Qualifications
- Native or near-native fluency in Spanish
- Knowledge of Second Language Acquisition theories
- Experience with technology integration in the classroom
Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

$45,000 annually
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM
