About the role

Extended Substitute position at Carson Middle School from mid-August 2026 until early November 2026. The role requires a Pennsylvania Teaching Certification in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Establish a program and class environment that promotes social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth through rich and engaging experiences.
• Build effective rapport with students and motivate them to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge aligned with their abilities.
• Create and maintain positive relationships with parents and staff members.

Requirements

• Pennsylvania Teaching Certification in Spanish (Instructional I certificate required; placeholder letters for pending certificates accepted to begin the interview process).
• Current clearances (must be within one year of hire date):
  • Child Abuse History Clearance
  • PA Criminal Record Check
  • FBI Fingerprint Clearance
  • Mandated Reporter of Child Abuse Training
• Successful completion of a pre-employment physical and TB test.

Pay

$120.00 per day.
