SECOND GRADE TEACHER, ST. MARGARET CATHOLIC SCHOOL, NARBERTH, PA, MONTGOMERY COUNTY

About the role

St. Margaret Catholic Elementary School is looking to hire a full time Second Grade teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The teacher will be responsible for all core subjects as well as sacramental preparation for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.

Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver lessons in core subjects: Religion, Math, Reading, Writing, Science and Social Studies. Experience with Fundations is preferred. - Model and promote Catholic values and teachings in daily interactions. - Assess student progress regularly and maintain accurate records. - Post grades in a timely manner on FACTS. - Communicate effectively with parents on a regular basis through conferences, reports and updates.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Master's Degree is a plus). - Valid teaching certification (preferred). - Practicing Catholic with knowledge of Catholic teachings and willingness to support SMS mission. - Experience working with elementary-aged children.
