St. Domenic Catholic School is accepting applications for a Grade 2 Teacher for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year.
About the role
- Teach Grade 2 students in a Catholic school setting
- Implement curriculum aligned with Archdiocese of Philadelphia standards
- Support student development in reading, writing, mathematics, and other core subjects
- Collaborate with colleagues and administration to enhance teaching methods and support student learning
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners
- Assess student progress regularly and provide feedback to parents and guardians
- Participate in professional development opportunities to improve teaching skills
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Valid Pennsylvania teaching certificate
- Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
