Responsibilities

• Serve as interpreter for People with Limited English Proficiency in various social services settings.
• Provide consecutive interpretation between English and Spanish.
• Listen to complete statements in one language, translate to the second language, and translate responses back to the first language.
• Express either approximate or exact translation, depending on the nature of the occasion.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of experience in interpreting settings.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Fluency in both Arabic and English languages.
• Ability to read and write both languages.
• Strong listening skills.

Schedule

Overnight shifts (part‑time, contract, freelance).
