Responsibilities
- Serve as interpreter for People with Limited English Proficiency in various social services settings.
- Provide consecutive interpretation between English and Spanish.
- Listen to complete statements in one language, translate them to the second language, and translate responses back.
- Deliver either approximate or exact translations, depending on the nature of the occasion.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 3 years of experience in interpreting settings.
Skills
- Fluency in both Arabic and English languages.
- Ability to read and write both languages.
- Strong listening skills.
Schedule
Overnight shifts.
Employment type: Contract, Part-time, Freelance.
