Spanish Bilingual Behavioral Health Consultant

About the role

The Behavioral Health Consultant will provide a variety of advanced-level professional treatment and program services to individuals with mental health and substance use issues, primarily servicing Medicaid, Medicare, and uninsured populations. They will collaborate with Primary Care teams and other IBH professionals in providing brief assessment, care planning, and brief mental health and addiction interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide culturally competent treatment modalities and demonstrate sensitivity to and respect for diverse populations served.
• Collaborate with Primary Care teams and other IBH professionals in providing brief assessment, care planning, and brief mental health and addiction interventions.
• Engage in and support increased diversity and equity within the team, clinic, and county.
• Manage clients experiencing crisis, possible psychosis, or impacts on functioning due to substance use.
• Support the IBH care team with other duties as necessary.

Requirements

• Bilingual Spanish/English skills are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in a behavioral health related field (social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, etc.).
• Actively pursuing a licensure in that field.
• Licensure supervision provided by Health Centers-Behavioral Health.
• Group supervision available for CADC hours for those on a CADC track.

Benefits

• Compensation range: $75,689.78 - $115,982.52 annually.
• Additional 5% of base compensation for bilingual Spanish/English skills.
• Licensure supervision provided by Health Centers-Behavioral Health.
