Space Planner
Responsibilities
- Participate in remodels as well as new construction restaurant projects
- Analyze both customer and employee traffic flow to increase efficiency of space utilization and improve design
- Participate in equipment placement and rearrangement
- Redline and update floor plans, elevations, sections, and details
- Review shop drawings and communicate with vendors/suppliers
- Adhere to ADA guidelines for restaurant design
- Work on architectural detailing and space planning
- Place kitchen, plumbing, utility equipment, and order stations throughout the restaurant
Desired Skills
- Prior space planning experience
- Commercial, retail or restaurant project experience (a bonus)
- Kitchen design experience (not required)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam experience (a plus)
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $31.00/hr.
