Space Intelligence Instructor/Curriculum Developer - USSF Guardi with Security Clearance

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering curriculum for various training programs related to space operations and security at Vandenberg Air Force Base. This includes instruction on Space Intelligence, Missile Warning, Exercises/Wargaming, and Space Battle Management (SBM).

Responsibilities

• Create and update training materials and curricula for Space Intelligence, Missile Warning, Exercises/Wargaming, and Space Battle Management.
• Develop and deliver instructor-led training sessions and online courses.
• Evaluate and improve training effectiveness through feedback and assessment methods.
• Stay current with advancements in space operations and security.
• Collaborate with other instructors and subject matter experts to ensure comprehensive coverage of topics.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in a relevant field such as Aerospace Engineering, Intelligence Studies, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in space operations, intelligence analysis, or related fields.
• Security clearance is required.
• Experience teaching and developing training materials for military or government agencies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of space systems, including satellites, launch vehicles, and missile defense systems.
• Knowledge of intelligence gathering techniques and analysis methodologies.
• Ability to develop engaging and effective training materials.
• Experience with instructional design and adult learning principles.

Pay

• $185,535 per year (Space Fundamentals Instructor/Curriculum Developer)
• $85,000 -- $225,000 per year (Space Intelligence Instructor/Curriculum Developer)
• $149,182 per year (Missile Warning Instructor/Curriculum Developer)
• $155,368 per year (Exercises/Wargaming Instructor/Curriculum Developer)
• $110,101 per year (Space Battle Management Instructor/Curriculum Developer)
