Job Summary

The Spa Supervisor assists the Spa Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the spa, ensuring that all treatments, amenities, and guest experiences meet the elevated standards of Black Desert Resort. This role provides leadership support for the front desk and attendant teams, assists with scheduling, maintains operational readiness, and ensures a relaxing and luxurious environment for guests.

Job Specifications

Onsite: Black Desert Resort
Shift & Schedule Availability: Year-Round / Full-Time
Pay Range: $22 – $24.50 /hour

Responsibilities

  • Support the daily operation of the spa, ensuring treatment rooms, locker rooms, relaxation areas, and public spaces are clean, organized, and guest-ready
  • Assist in managing and scheduling spa front desk and attendant staff
  • Provide guidance, support, and training to team members, ensuring alignment with luxury resort service standards and Forbes expectations
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback
  • Cook promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback
  • Aid guests with check-in, check-out, spa tours, retail purchases, and appointment scheduling

  • Coordinate with providers and technicians to ensure accurate scheduling and smooth service flow
  • Maintain spa supply levels and assist with inventory and retail restocking
  • Serve as the manager-on-duty during Spa Manager absences, including closing/opening duties and daily team communications
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all spa treatments, retail offerings, and resort amenities to confidently assist guests and support staff
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in spa or wellness operations, preferably in a supervisory or lead role
  • Prior experience in a Forbes 5 Star Spa preferred
  • Strong guest service and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience with spa booking software (e.g., SpaSoft, Book4Time, or similar) preferred
  • Knowledge of spa services, wellness products, and luxury guest expectations
  • Excellent multitasking and time management skills
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings as required by business levels
