About the role
Vista Springs Trillium Village is seeking a Spa Specialist to provide routine daily care to community members. The position involves assisting with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, and general care.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate support with activities of daily living and basic personal care needs
- Assist with bath or shower assistance for community members
- Assist community members with dressing and grooming care
- Communicate any skin issues to the Health and Wellness Officer/Director or Coordinator
- Shampoo hair and trim facial hair on community members if needed
- Visit with community members and communicate their issues
- Perform additional duties as needed
- Observe and follow Vista Springs' policies and procedures
- Attend in-service education and staff meetings
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent, no prior experience necessary
- Basic computer skills, including knowledge of operating a computer and familiarity with Word, Excel, and Outlook in a Windows environment
- First aid and CPR training
