Waxing Specialist - Esthetician / Cosmetologist

About the role

We're looking for a licensed esthetician or cosmetologist to join us as a waxing specialist. You will perform full-body waxing, greet and help guests feel comfortable, schedule new appointments, check out guests, and maintain clean rooms and salon spaces. You'll work in a collaborative team environment, support your teammates, and work toward hitting goals.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-body waxing using the TRUWAX®️ soft wax and our 3-step speed-waxing technique
• Greet guests and ensure they feel comfortable, important, and welcome
• Schedule new appointments and check out guests
• Maintain clean and sanitary rooms and salon spaces
• Work collaboratively in a team environment and support teammates
• Participate in receptionist and cleaning duties
• Set and work toward personal and team goals

Requirements

• Esthetician or Cosmetologist license in the state of Utah (or in the process of obtaining one)
• Willingness to work a set full-time schedule of 30+ hours per week with flexibility to support teammates as needed
• Innate ability to make people feel comfortable and welcome
• Willingness to learn and perform the Radiant Waxing 3-step speed-waxing technique

Pay

Compensation includes hourly pay, commission, and tips. Waxologists average between $25 and $35 per hour.
