Decor Specialist

What You'll Do

• Makes new and old store decorative fixture packages, including setting up displays for management approval, taking photographs, and drafting displays for proper installation.
• Maintains inventory of fixtures and packs them for shipment.
• Travels to locations, unloads trucks, inventories fixtures, supervises contracted carpenters, and ensures fixtures are installed to company standards.
• Installs fixtures, maintains accurate expense, time, and store report records, builds props, display cases, shelves, and shadowboxes, sets up and takes down display areas, cleans, repairs, secures, restores, and modifies decor, and assists in ordering supplies for restoration and installation.
• Maintains the decor warehouse by sweeping, emptying trash, straightening shelves, and picking up personal work area.
• Cuts various styles of picture frame molding, glass, and assembles frames for paper advertisements.
• Performs miscellaneous maintenance duties such as cardboard removal, moving furniture, changing light bulbs, and painting in all buildings.
