About the role
Operate and set up one or more PVD coating machines to perform machine operations on highly repetitive and standardized parts. Keep coating department machinery and mechanical equipment in good repair. Follow company standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate and set up PVD coating machines
- Perform machine operations on standardized parts
- Keep machinery and equipment in good repair
- Communicate production problems with team lead and/or supervisor
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic math, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Mechanical aptitude (follow work instructions, use basic hand tools)
- Ability to learn coating equipment operation
