Spa Dual Therapist (Massage Therapist/Esthetician)

Duties

• Provide facial services to guests using props and/or products.
• Provide Yoga and Energy work body treatments to guests using body scrubs, wraps.
• Provide consistent professional massage and body treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification process.
• Assess guest needs and inquire about contraindications before beginning service.
• Effectively inform and educate guests about specific wellness concerns.
• Be flexible with scheduling, supporting the needs of the spa.
• Maintain a consistent time schedule throughout the day.
• Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of product as indicated on service protocols to assist with cost controls.
• Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products offered.
• Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and procedures.
• Perform prep work, properly clean and restock rooms as required.
• Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guest incidents that require attention.
• Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, and retail.
• Promote programs, promotions and discounts available.
• Handle guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
• Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests.
• Possess the ability to work without direct supervision.
• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
• Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the spa.
• Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management.
• Maintain current license in service area.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in spa services, including experience in facial treatments, yoga and energy work, and massage therapy. A valid license in the service area is required. Previous experience in a spa setting is preferred.

Skills

Strong communication skills, ability to work independently, and a passion for wellness are essential. Proficiency in customer service and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously are also important.
