SOVT Documentation Specialist

Job Summary

The SOVT Documentation Specialist provides development and maintenance of Submarine Onboard Verification Test documentation, including digital and automated tools. The specialist ensures test procedures remain current, accurate, and aligned with fleet requirements.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Develop, maintain, and update SOVT documentation packages
• Support digital transformation and automation of verification testing procedures
• Cook up documentation updates with system engineering and fleet stakeholders
• Track configuration changes using approved Navy tools

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience with SOVT development and maintenance, including digital/automated tools
• Experience with Linux, Windows, VMWare, Ansible, Cisco, Trellix, Aruba, cloud computing
• Familiarity with CMPro and JIRA for configuration and workflow tracking

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any engineering discipline (Preferred)
