Responsibilities
As an IT Specialist (SYSANALYSIS-INFOSEC) you will:
- Serve as a senior cloud infrastructure engineer responsible for the design and implementation of enterprise cloud environments.
- Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure architectures supporting mission and enterprise systems.
- Lead the development and implementation of a subject matter strategy aligned with agency objectives and Federal policies.
- Ensure cloud infrastructure complies with Federal cybersecurity policies and standards.
- Support authorization and continuous monitoring of cloud systems.
- Develop and maintain standards and guidelines that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. These policies cover areas such as access controls, encryption, incident response, and data protection.
- Provide technical security advice and assistance on the design, development, integration, implementation, and operation of all cloud-based services and infrastructure.
- Lead technical working groups and provide guidance to engineers implementing cloud identity solutions.
- Lead and serve on workgroups and project teams as required.
- Provide expert consultation and act as a trusted advisor to business and IT groups on cloud technology.
- Participate in technical support and evaluation of business metrics which indicate progress toward overall business goals and best practices as they apply to the OCIO Cloud Infrastructure Engineering program.
- Consult with stakeholders about their requirements throughout the entire project. Ensure customers are involved at all stages from planning and development to testing and implementation.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: Applicants for the 2210 Information Technology Management series at the GS-14 grade level must have Information Technology (IT) related experience which demonstrates proficiency in the following competencies:

Minimum Qualifications: You must have one year of specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following:
- Executing the design and implementation of enterprise cloud infrastructure architectures.
- Carrying out engineering activities for enterprise cloud capabilities that support multiple cloud environments.
- Implementing identity federation and access control frameworks in practical, operational settings.
- Providing hands-on technical leadership for enterprise cloud and identity initiatives.
