IT Specialist (SYSANALYSIS/APPSW/INFOSEC)
Duties
We need your expertise if...
- You are eager to serve as senior technical expert and technical lead for complex IT software products, including public-facing and enterprise systems, with responsibility for modernization, architecture, and alignment with mission needs.
- You are excited to lead DevSecOps implementation and oversight to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient product development, deployment, monitoring, and sustainment.
- You desire to direct cybersecurity compliance and authorization activities, including support for the Information System Security Assessment and Authorization program.
- You are committed to providing technical leadership for data strategy, data dissemination, process automation, and AI/ML adoption to improve service delivery, operational efficiency, and business outcomes.
Qualifications
You must meet the United States Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) qualification requirements (including specialized experience and/or educational requirements) for the advertised position. You must meet all eligibility and qualifications requirements by the closing date of the job announcement.
Specialized experience for this position includes:
- Experience serving as a technical lead on an agile DevSecOps team, using multiple programming languages such as Java, C#, Angular, SQL, AWS Lambda, JSON, or equivalent, to develop, modernize, and deliver secure public-facing or enterprise IT products based on business needs, including oversight of cybersecurity compliance and secure product delivery.
- Experience as a technical lead or program manager overseeing AI and Machine Learning implementations, or data dissemination modernization, or process automation, to improve operational efficiency and mission outcomes.
