About the role
We are seeking a Southwest Region Water Business Group Director to lead business group initiatives and drive regional growth. This role requires a proven track record in leading diverse teams and fostering a collaborative culture.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead business group initiatives for the Region
- Implement and maintain an effective regional business group program
- Drive regional growth and meet growth expectations
- Mentor Area Business Group Managers, Area Business Development Managers, and key personnel
- Lead in the identification and prioritization of strategic hires
- Participate in water industry associations and organizations
- Actively participate in identifying and prioritizing strategic hires
- Be committed to quality, improvement, and HDR values
- Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications
- Proven relationships within major water organizations within the Southwest states of the US
- Applicable registrations and association activities
- Frequent travel is required (50%+)
- Committed to quality improvement and HDR values
- Strong operations and client development skills
- Experience with alternative delivery contracting and risk management
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field
- A minimum of 12 years experience in related field
- Demonstrated experience with leading diverse teams
- Works cooperatively with other regional business group directors, regional and local office managers, technical and marketing directors
- Committed to quality, improvement and HDR values
- Strong business skills
Benefits
The expected compensation range for this position is $262,000 - 328,000 depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.)
