Program Overview

HCA Healthcare is hosting an invite‑only Nurse Residency Hiring Event for its South Houston facilities on Tuesday, October 27, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event connects top new‑graduate nurses with the right team from day one. Candidates are pre‑screened by the recruiting team and only the most qualified will receive dedicated interview slots, allowing direct interaction with leaders, insight into unit expectations, and a personalized fit for career goals.

The HCA Healthcare Nurse Residency Program is a year‑long, full‑time paid program designed to support the transition from classroom to professional practice. It provides advanced clinical training, monthly educational sessions, preceptorship with a facility preceptor, hands‑on simulations, mentorship from experienced nurse leaders, and the opportunity to work on an evidence‑based practice project. Residents are part of a supportive community of nurse educators, experienced nurses, and fellow residents.
