South Asia – Training and Education

About the role

This role involves developing tools to meet the educational needs of an unreached people group in South Asia. The ideal candidate will live among and learn the language and culture of the people group, engaging and encouraging national leaders.

Responsibilities

- Develop tools to meet the educational needs of the community. - Discover and implement educational or training opportunities that best serve the community. - Share the gospel in culturally contextualized ways. - Equip national leaders to evangelize and disciple believers. - Collaborate with a team to provide mutual encouragement and accountability.

Requirements

- Formal Biblical Studies or equivalent experience. - Three to five years of church/ministry leadership experience (preferred). - Experience with evangelism and discipleship. - A solid commitment to the spiritual disciplines (e.g., Bible reading, prayer). - Willingness to learn and communicate fluently in the local language.

- Missionary mindset. - Ability to adopt new ideas and take risks. - Critical thinking skills to evaluate missiological and innovative strategies.

- Effective communication and relationship-building skills. - Flexibility and responsiveness to the felt needs within the community. - Research and evaluation skills to identify and implement effective educational strategies.
