Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and recipe development
- Supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation and presentation
- Ensure high standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Maintain kitchen operations and assist in managing food costs
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes
- Cook with the front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service
- Implement and maintain health and safety regulations in the kitchen
Requirements
- Associate degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Creativity and passion for food and culinary trends
- Flexibility to work various shifts, excluding late hours
