Responsibilities
- Serving as the focal point for supplier quality activities within the Baker Hughes Digital Solutions, Waygate Technologies UT business.
- Providing technical guidance to suppliers to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, quality requirements, and customer flow-down requirements.
- Leading supplier qualification activities and supporting supplier onboarding processes.
- Driving continuous improvement programs through issue analysis, surveillance audits, and corrective action management.
- Participating in Management Review Board (MRB) meetings and supporting quality decision-making processes.
- Monitoring and reporting supplier quality KPIs, including non-conformities, cost of quality, corrective actions, and preventive actions.
- Conducting first-piece qualifications for new parts and documenting approvals in quality systems such as ESQM.
- Executing supplier corrective action requests (SCARs), process control activities, and supplier quality assurance initiatives.
- Monitoring Supplier Cost of Quality (COQ) and driving recovery activities with suppliers.
- Supporting development of supplier quality scorecards, dashboards, and reporting tools.
- Collaborating closely with Waygate, Inspection, Industrial Flow, and site quality teams to coordinate supplier quality improvements.
Requirements
- Have an Engineering degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent knowledge and experience.
- Have 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Product Engineering, Supplier Quality, or Manufacturing Quality.
- Have strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Have experience using structured problem-solving methodologies and quality improvement tools.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Have the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Have a results-oriented mindset with strong influencing and stakeholder management skills.
- Have knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, quality tools, and statistical analysis methods.
- Have experience within industries such as Oil & Gas, Energy, Automotive, Aerospace, or Industrial Manufacturing.
- Have hands-on experience in Electronics, Machining, Fabrication, or related engineering disciplines.
- Have experience managing supplier qualifications, audits, corrective actions, and supplier development programs.
- Have proficiency with supplier quality systems, scorecards, and reporting tools.
- Have Lead Auditor certification from a recognized accreditation body.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will:

Pay
The pay range for this role is $80,000 - $120,000 annually.
Schedule
The schedule for this role is Full-Time.
