Sourcing Specialist
We are looking for a Sourcing Specialist to join our team at our Westbury, NY facility.

Responsibilities
- Prepare request for information (RFI) and request for quote (RFQ).
- Identify new high-potential suppliers through market research and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with sourcing processes and maintain sourcing records and databases.
- Follow up and resolve quality and availability issues.
- Conduct spend analysis and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in cost, quality, and service.
- Maintain and manage independent charge for assigned purchases.
- Act as a backup to support essential activities of the Sourcing group.
- Update and track savings for the responsible category on the online STEP tool.
- Conduct category analysis and supplier identification and evaluation.
- Negotiate pricing, contract conditions, and payment terms.
- Analyze categories to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors.
Requirements
- College Engineering degree; technical, business, or supply chain major preferred.
- 5-8 years of previous experience in supply chain management, procurement, or strategic sourcing.
- Proficient in MS Office; previous experience with SAP desirable.
- Ability to develop mastery of ERP systems in a short period of time.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple sourcing projects and maintain records of current status.
- Excellent communication skills to prepare presentations and collaborate cross-functionally with peers and superiors.

Pay
The current compensation range for this position is $90,000 to $130,000 per year. Some positions may also offer eligibility to participate in a discretionary incentive program. The salary of the finalist(s) selected will be based on factors including internal equity, job location, work experience, education, training, and certifications.
