Sourcing Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage quarterly RFQ process for the site with both domestic and overseas suppliers.
• Drive for cost saving and MOQ (minimum order quantity)/MPQ (minimum package quantity) and Lead Time optimization.
• Validate/document all RFQ information from suppliers, complete quotation reports and submit all pricing for customer's approval timely.
• Set up new vendors by working with the Legal and Finance departments.
• Maintain accurate data in ERP (enterprise resource planning) system and ensure data compliance between internal and external systems.
• Issue quarterly Schedule Agreement for the site.
• Aid in resolving pricing discrepancies and GR (goods received) issues.
• Identify opportunities and secure customer approval for PPV (published price variance)/Re-quote.
• Collaborate with the logistics team on shipment freight estimation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel required, including v-lookup and pivot tables.
• Bilingual in Mandarin preferred.
• Strong communication (written and verbal) skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work in a team.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of purchasing or commodity management preferred.
• Contract electronic manufacturing experience is a plus.
