Responsibilities
- Proactively identify contracts approaching renewal and partner with business units to determine sourcing strategies.
- Lead sourcing initiatives, including managing RFx processes, evaluating vendor proposals, supporting vendor selection, and negotiating renewals and new agreements to drive cost savings and improved terms.
- Review contracts to ensure pricing, terms, and conditions are competitive and aligned with business needs.
- Serve as a key procurement partner to business units throughout sourcing, contracting, and vendor management activities, coordinating with Legal, Procurement, Finance, and other stakeholders to facilitate reviews and resolve issues.
- Ensure sourcing and renewal activities comply with procurement policies, standards, and governance requirements.
- Work closely with the Procurement Analyst to leverage reporting on contracts, spend, vendor performance, and vendor risk to prioritize sourcing opportunities and renewal activities.
- Support development and adoption of consistent procurement processes and best practices, while identifying process improvement opportunities and helping implement operational enhancements as the procurement function evolves.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or vendor management.
- Experience supporting sourcing events, contract negotiations, renewals, and vendor evaluations.
- Demonstrated ability to proactively engage stakeholders and identify opportunities to drive cost savings and operational efficiencies.
- Experience with procurement systems, contract management tools, and reporting tools preferred.
