About the role

We are Accenture Sourcing & Procurement, seeking a driven professional to join our IT Center of Excellence. This role involves supporting all aspects of client-facing IT sourcing and cost optimization projects, working closely with clients and suppliers to drive project initiatives and leading consulting, problem-solving, project management, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Create robust sourcing strategies and recommendations
  • Provide IT thought leadership and benchmarking
  • Synthesize disparate data sources into insights and clear deliverables
  • Work together with clients to identify and interpret key project requirements
  • Develop and nurture relationships with client stakeholders
  • Facilitate development of project plans and overall project management to ensure effective delivery of client project work and client deliverables
  • Cook up with subject matter experts within and outside of the firm
  • Work with contractors, consultants, and internal/external resources to align priorities, accomplish objectives, and satisfy all stakeholders
  • Contribute to the IT Center of Excellence’s strategic decisions and direction
  • Exhibit integrity in decisions and firm relationships
  • Achieve excellence and dependability through the execution of projects and initiatives

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience executing Strategic Sourcing projects/programs, including exposure to IT negotiations
  • Minimum 1 year experience with Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint) products, including the ability to develop and interpret complex analytical models and ad-hoc reports
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If associate degree, must have a minimum of 6 years’ work experience)

Qualifications

  • Proven client-facing skills and proficiency in building and nurturing client relationships
  • Strong planning and management abilities, capable of handling multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present to senior executives
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Deep IT category and procurement expertise in one or more of the following – hardware, software, infrastructure, networking, cloud services, labor
  • Comfortable in an entrepreneurial, performance-driven environment and skilled in innovation and process improvement
  • Prior experience in driving insights using visualization tools (i.e., Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx) and analytics tools (i.e., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)
  • Earned an MBA or equivalent graduate degree

Skills

  • Strong understanding of IT procurement and negotiation processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint)

Annual salary range: $70,350 to $205,800
