About the role
We are seeking a driven professional with 5+ years of management consulting experience supporting procurement and/or strategic sourcing initiatives. This role involves leading cost optimization or procurement process optimization projects, managing project support resources, and delivering results. Key responsibilities include developing creative cost reduction strategies, leading client engagements, and building relationships with clients.
Responsibilities
- Develop overall project plans and lead all parts of the client engagement
- Manage project support resources and coordinate with subject matter experts from within and outside the firm
- Develop creative cost reduction strategies and recommendations
- Present to client executives
- Build consensus among client stakeholders
- Develop and nurture relationships with clients
- Support in developing internal strategies, intellectual capital, and deliverables
- Audit client expenditures and identify targets to reduce costs and improve quality
- Engage in strategic sourcing (both within companies and across private equity portfolios)
- Procurement process reengineering
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of management consulting experience supporting procurement and / or strategic sourcing initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field
- Ability to effectively plan and manage multiple projects, tasks, and/or initiatives simultaneously
- An interest and passion for supporting the development of junior team members
Qualifications
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Strong analytical skills including the ability to manage resources performing complex analytics to develop client decision support data
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written), including the ability to present comfortably to senior executives
- You excel in building and developing relationships, overseeing complex programs, and demonstrating leadership
- Earned an MBA or equivalent graduate degree
- Bonus points for experience in driving insights using visualization tools (i.e., Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx) and analytics tools (i.e., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)

Pay
Annual Salary Range: $94,400 to $293,800
Schedule
Travel is required for this role and could vary from 10-50%.
