It’s our job to show clients how to take major leaps forward in cost-out, strategic category management, and procurement operations.
Responsibilities
- Solving challenging problems and applying creativity and innovation
- Create robust sourcing strategies and cost-out recommendations
- Drive category insights, analysis, and benchmarking
- Build and review robust analytics models via Excel, Alteryx, SQL
- Synthesize disparate data sources into insights and clear deliverables
- Work with clients to identify and interpret key project requirements
- Nurture relationships with client stakeholders
- Facilitate development of project plans and overall project management to ensure effective delivery of client project work and client deliverables
- Develop presentations and key deliverables to support decision making
- Communicate findings and recommendations to internal teams and client stakeholders
- Achieve excellence and dependability through the execution of projects and initiatives
Requirements
- Minimum of 2.5 years of experience executing Strategic Sourcing projects/programs
- Minimum 2.5 years of experience developing and executing cost optimization strategies
- Strong acumen surrounding problem solving and data analytics tools (e.g. Excel, Alteryx, SQL, R, Power BI)
- Demonstrated ability to structure data, check and “QA” models, and build executive-ready dashboards and summaries
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. If associate degree, must have a minimum of 6 years’ work experience
- Bonus points if Management consulting experience with a well-regarded firm
- Comfortable in an entrepreneurial, performance-driven environment and a capacity for innovation and process improvement
- Demonstrated abilities in problem solving and independent decision-making capabilities
- Ability to effectively take on multiple projects, tasks, and initiatives simultaneously
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Self-starter mindset and bias towards proactively taking initiative to learn, grow, and advance projects
- Prior experience in driving insights using visualization tools (e.g., Power BI and Tableau) and analytics tools (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)
- Earned an MBA or equivalent graduate degree
