About the role
We are Accenture Sourcing & Procurement, seeking a driven professional to join our IT Center of Excellence. This role involves supporting all aspects of client-facing IT sourcing and cost optimization projects, working closely with clients and suppliers to drive project initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Create robust sourcing strategies and recommendations
- Provide IT thought leadership and benchmarking
- Synthesize disparate data sources into insights and clear deliverables
- Work together with clients to identify and interpret key project requirements
- Develop and nurture relationships with client stakeholders
- Facilitate development of project plans and overall project management to ensure effective delivery of client project work and client deliverables
- Cook up with subject matter experts within and outside of the firm
- Work with contractors, consultants, and internal/external resources to align priorities, accomplish objectives, and satisfy all stakeholders
- Contribute to the IT Center of Excellence’s strategic decisions and direction
- Exhibit integrity in decisions and firm relationships
- Achieve excellence and dependability through the execution of projects and initiatives
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience executing Strategic Sourcing projects/programs, including exposure to IT negotiations
- Minimum 1 year experience with Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint) products, including the ability to develop and interpret complex analytical models and ad-hoc reports
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If associate degree, must have a minimum of 6 years’ work experience)
Qualifications
- Proven client-facing skills and proficiency in building and nurturing client relationships
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written), including the ability to present comfortably to senior executives
- Strong analytical skills
- Deep IT category and procurement expertise in one or more of the following – hardware, software, infrastructure, networking, cloud services, labor
- Comfortable in an entrepreneurial, performance-driven environment and a capacity for innovation and process improvement
- Prior experience in driving insights using visualization tools (i.e., Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx) and analytics tools (i.e., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)
- Earned an MBA or equivalent graduate degree
Skills
- Experience with IT procurement and/or negotiations across areas such as IT Services & Labor, IT Infrastructure, IT Software, and Telecommunications
- Ability to learn and apply new knowledge quickly
