Sourcing Manager
Department: Group Purchasing. Reports To: Lead Sourcing Manager. Level: Staff. Work Location: Remote or Hybrid (based on individual location). FLSA Status: Exempt.

The Sourcing Manager assumes a critical role in CHAMPS GPO’s contracting team, overseeing negotiation, initiation, and composition of vendor agreements and contracts while supporting all contracting and sourcing initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage the WellLink‑assigned contract portfolio, including negotiating new agreements, contract launches, renewals, and related documentation.
- Develop, analyze, negotiate, and manage RFx (Requests for Proposals) processes, bid activities, and the contract pipeline in line with the contract calendar.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify contracting gaps, generate innovative ideas, and award new contract categories to meet organizational needs.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding contract implementation, terms, offerings, and modifications.
- Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date contract records, ensuring all supporting documents are organized and readily accessible.
- Conduct comprehensive market research and due‑diligence on price lists, price changes, competitive GPO contracts, and the broader marketplace for products and services.
- Assist in developing and implementing contract‑management processes and procedures to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
Requirements
- Proficient negotiation skills with the ability to analyze contract terms, evaluate pricing, and manage supplier relationships effectively.
- Advanced proficiency in contract‑management software, procurement tools, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for successful collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational abilities to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Thorough understanding of procurement best practices, industry regulations, and the GPO contracting environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (required).
- 2–3 years of experience in contracting or supply chain.
