Sourcing Manager

This Sourcing Manager position in Kings Mountain, NC, supports sourcing projects and assigned commodities by deploying best practices, procurement tools, and negotiation skills. You will assist in contract execution, implementation, and supplier reviews while identifying process and sourcing improvement opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Source suppliers and assist with bid evaluations, cost analyses, price justification, and risk assessment of suppliers.
- Assist with supplier negotiations for new procurements or changes to existing purchase orders.
- Draft purchase orders and agreements for approval by the Sourcing & Commodity Manager.
- Coordinate and participate in supplier meetings.
Requirements
- 4-year college degree in Supply Chain Management or a relevant discipline.
- Experience and/or exposure to supply chain concepts, methodologies, and manufacturing through internships or training programs.
- Analytical and technical skills to understand business practices and recommend automation opportunities.
- Intermediate computer skills and understanding of electronic processing.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external contacts.
