SORTING OPERATOR - FLOATER (Muskogee, Oklahoma, United States, 74401)

Responsibilities

• Operates production equipment, monitors production parameters, inspects or tests product for conformance to specifications, records data, and makes decisions on when to adjust the process or contact supervision for guidance.
• Operates production equipment according to standard operating procedures.
• May function as a sorter, box assembler, or relief operator for the kiln or automatic sorting equipment.
• Conducts tests or inspections as required on the control plan and according to test methods.
• Performs additional job tasks as documented in the job task check sheet.
• May stop production equipment when a safety, quality, or mechanical problem prevents equipment use or conformance to product requirements.
• Follows ISO operating procedures and maintains quality checks as specified.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Routinely works at heights that require fall protection.
• Good oral communication skills.
• Good listening skills.
• Ability to understand and speak basic English.
