About the role

This position involves operating various powered industrial trucks and floor scrubbers to manage receiving and cleaning tasks in a manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities

• Operates various powered industrial trucks to receive materials and prepare for stocking.
• Works with the receiving clerk and other departments to ensure prompt offloading of shipments.
• Maintains paperwork from freight lines and submits it to the appropriate personnel.
• Verifies quantities on Bill of Ladings and signs for items received, cataloging them in designated areas according to 5S and visual workplace standards.
• Maintains daily sign-off sheets for all equipment operated.
• Monitors equipment for optimal performance and reports any issues to the supervisor.
• Fulfills general duties such as keeping the area safe, clean, and organized.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to operate various types of powered industrial trucks and floor scrubbers.
• Good physical condition to perform the required tasks.
• Knowledge of safety guidelines and equipment operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse or similar setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
