SORTING OPERATOR - D SHIFT (NIGHTS)

The primary objective of this role is to inspect and sort finished tile.
Responsibilities
- Inspect tile for shade and visual defects.
- Discard defective tile into trash hoppers.
- Monitor equipment or processes and report problems to supervisor.
- Follow standard operating procedures.
- Keep area safe, clean, and organized.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Previous manufacturing/production experience.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Good record-keeping skills.
- Good listening skills.
- Accurate measurement capability.
- Ability to understand and speak basic English.
Work Environment
- Regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms.
- Required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- May be required to sit, climb, or balance occasionally.
- May lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
- Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
- Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
- May be exposed to a wide range of temperatures.
- Noise level is usually loud.
