About the role

The role of Sonography Program Director/Instructor involves leading and developing a sonography program, overseeing curriculum development, faculty management, and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee curriculum development and ensure alignment with industry standards and accreditation requirements.
• Manage faculty, including hiring, training, and professional development.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clinical sites and community partners.
• Evaluate student performance and provide feedback to improve educational outcomes.
• Participate in program reviews and accreditation processes.
• Conduct research and publish findings in relevant academic journals.

Requirements

• A Master’s degree in Health Sciences, Nursing, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in healthcare administration or teaching.
• Experience in medical imaging, particularly sonography.
• Knowledge of relevant state and national accreditation standards.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
