About the role
Platt College Los Angeles seeks a Program Director for the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program. This individual will provide collaborative leadership to faculty within the discipline and serve as the liaison between department faculty and college staff.Responsibilities
- Collaborate with faculty to develop and implement curriculum enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners to enhance student learning experiences.
- Oversee faculty development and professional growth activities.
- Assess program effectiveness and make necessary improvements.
- Manage program budget and resources.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related subject area required, Master’s Degree preferred, from an accredited college.
- At least four (4) years of experience as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
- RDMS Certification required in Abdomen and OB - must be in good standing.
