The Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program Director oversees the development, implementation, and evaluation of the sonography program curriculum, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee curriculum development and implementation
- Evaluate program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments
- Ensure compliance with accreditation standards
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to enhance educational outcomes
- Develop and maintain relationships with clinical partners
- Conduct regular program reviews and updates
Requirements
- M.D., D.O., or equivalent degree
- At least 5 years of clinical experience in sonography
- Experience in program administration and accreditation
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Proficiency in ultrasound equipment operation
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed
